Grand Theft U.S. Open Trophy
I decided to take a walk late Wednesday afternoon and saw a group gathered down on the beach below the 10th hole.

Turns out Sky Sports (UK TV Channel) had ‘borrowed’ the U.S. Open Trophy and was filming a few vignettes.
As many of you know, there are numerous copies of the trophy.. ala the Lexus tent.
Not the real deal!!
Turns out this guy was the real deal.
THE REAL DEAL!!
And to prove it, one of Pebble Beach’s finest was standing close by at all time.

Anyway, after they were done, Sky Sports lets some fans take candid photos and I could not resist.

Luckily for me, the Sky Sport video guy was taking the pics and had the presence of mind to keep clicking.
